We offer three different multi-sports programs for different age groups to help our little athletes discover their sporting interests, learn a wide array of different sporting skills, and become more confident in their social skills.

AGES 1.5 - 2.5


Join our Sports Playgroup, an interactive program designed to develop the soft skills and sports skills of our students. Our little athletes are prepared for future sports-specific classes by learning transferable skills such as basic rolling, throwing, striking and handling.

To help our students develop their identity and grow we often give feedback on positive social interactions as well as let the group know our expectations. At Island Sports, we promote compassion, discipline, communication skills, manners and listening through a sports medium.​ A big part of our program is to reinforce our student's current knowledge of animals, colours, numbers and body parts through games.

AGES 2.5 - 4


Following the path of our playgroup program we continue to develop our students gross motor skills through challenging activities; introduce them to reception skills and ball manipulation skills.

At this level we introduce children to the sports Basketball, Athletics, Football, Tennis, Street Hockey and Touch Rugby.

Through supportive coaching our students improve and develop their physical fitness, sports ability and identity. Our goal is to help each child identify their strengths within the programme and provide them the opportunity to choose their favourite sport.

Other than teaching sports skills we also focus on developing our students soft skills. Through setting rules and social standards for situations kids commonly encounter we help develop our students character.

AGES 4 - 8


Our Multi-sports programme is for your child if they have: had little exposure to sports; are unsure about focusing on a particular sport; or dislikes too much emphasis on competition. 


Split into age groups, this programme exposes children to a variety of sports such as athletics, basketball, hockey, football, Tee-Ball and tennis. The focus of this programme is for children to enjoy taking part in physical activity without the emphasis on competition. If you would like us to run a programme for you at another location please email us!
