PLAYGROUP

Our Playgroup programme is for 2.5 - 3.5 year olds and a great way to get your child active. We run family-friendly classes where parents are encouraged to get involved to enrich their families experience.

Children are taught transferable sports skills and practice gross movements through activities. Our coaches monitor social interactions to encourage positive behaviour. Join us in getting active in the Island Sport way!

A guardian must be present throughout to assist the child when need.

SPORTS DISCOVERY

Following the path of our playgroup program we continue to develop our students gross motor skills through challenging activities; introduce them to reception skills and ball manipulation skills.

At this level we introduce children to the sports Basketball, Athletics, Football, Tennis, Street Hockey and Touch Rugby.

Through supportive coaching our students improve and develop their physical fitness, sports ability and identity. Our goal is to help each child identify their strengths within the programme and provide them the opportunity to choose their favourite sport.

Other than teaching sports skills we also focus on developing our students soft skills. Through setting rules and social standards for situations kids commonly encounter we help develop our students character.

MULTI-SPORTS

Our Multi-sports programme is for children who have had little exposure to sports; are unsure about focussing on a particular sport; or dislikes too much emphasis on competition.

This programme exposes children to a variety of sports such as athletics, basketball, hockey, football, and tennis.

Other than teaching sports skills we also focus on developing our students soft skills. Through setting rules and social standards for situations kids commonly encounter we help develop our students character.

STREET HOCKEY

The first of its kind in Hong Kong, we are offering an introductory level programme to hockey. We give our students the basics skills needed to excel in field and ice hockey. Our Beginners Hockey programme is generally for 3 - 5 year olds (or older if no experience), to gain an understanding of the game and the basic skills required.

This program focuses on teaching the basic skills required to participate as a contributing team member in a hockey squad.

Other than teaching sports skills we also focus on developing our students soft skills. Through setting rules and social standards for situations kids commonly encounter we help develop our students character.

SWIMMING

Our classes are tailored to individual skill levels. Whether that means a need to focus on fundamental skills like kicking, body positioning, floating and foundation level strokes. Or building on foundation level strokes to a higher degree of proficiency.

Parents are encouraged to get involved as assistant coaches under the guidance of our staff to enrich their child experience. A great way to monitor your child's swimming ability and help them develop a strong foundation for swimming.

RUGBY

Welcome to our beginner's rugby program, where we'll cover the foundational skills of the sport through safe, fun and effective drills and games. We provide sessions for different age groups to make sure more of our students are included, as well as to ensure our classes are adjusted to varying skill levels.

Through this program, we aim to expose future rugby players from early on to bring greater confidence, skill, and a positive outlook on the sport through enjoyable sessions.
