Nutrition can be a very confusing area, especially exacerbated by large amounts of conflicting information being thrown around on social media and other outlets. 

Coach Alex, who is also a certified Nutritional Coach, has put together scientifically and evidence-backed nutritional information to help you achieve a healthy and balanced diet for your children, this information is also applicable to adults!

Below are a number of different posters, providing advice on proper dieting and giving sample meal plans for your kids.

FEEDING YOUR LITTLE ATHLETE

In this poster, we will explore the basics of achieving a healthy diet by explaining and providing recommended guidelines around how many macronutrients and calories your child should be eating.

EXAMPLE VEGETARIAN MEAL PLAN

We have made a 1397 calorie meal plan that is balanced to the recommended macronutrients ratio that is fully vegetarian.

A 1397 calorie meal plan is suitable for children who are very active aged 3 - 5 years old. For less active children, this plan is appropriate for 4 - 8-year-olds.

We've provided guidelines to appropriate caloric intakes for children's of different ages previously, this diet plan can be adjusted in portions in order to better tailor to your child's age and activity level.

A 1510 calorie meal plan is suitable for sedentary children aged 4 - 8. For more active children, portion sizes can be increased.
